About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team at Olympia Transportation Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport Compliance

Ensure that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

Policies and Standards

Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are aligned with company objectives.

Operations Management

Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.

Revenue Management

Monitor and control transportation service rates, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with market conditions.

Cargo Management

Record and track cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Operations Planning

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that they are aligned with company objectives and goals.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role is required.

Work Setting

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a trucking company.

Personal Suitability

Excellent attention to detail, client focus, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player skills are required.

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
