We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team at Alt Hotel Calgary East Village. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
    • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Guest Services
    • Investigate complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Manage front desk operations, including cash handling and balancing
    • Process group arrivals and departures, and take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages in a professional and courteous manner
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
