Are you passionate about wildlife conservation and providing exceptional customer service? We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Guest Relations Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Calgary Zoo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage crowd and line control, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
  • Process sales transactions, including day admissions, memberships, and special events.
  • Operate a POS system and access control scanners.
  • Assist with the paid parking system and provide line management as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a specialized team to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
Requirements:
  • Previous cash handling experience and point of sale experience.
  • Ability to reconcile and balance at the end of each shift.
  • Confident working alone and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability for short notice changes to shifts.
