Your Team

The Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for leading PSP's cross-functional approach to partnerships through a range of partners, including banks, general partners, and peer relationships. The team works closely with investment teams and PSP's Executive Committee to bring tangible value through our partnerships and support PSP's strategic objectives.

Your Role

As a Strategic Partnerships Analyst, you will support the team in the following activities:

  • Support the execution of a strategic partnerships strategy across the organization to improve connectivity, information sharing, and PSP's ability to create synergies and leverage them, using technology to facilitate cross-functional communications and information sharing.
  • Identify, establish, and cultivate high-quality strategic relationships to generate value and leverage PSP's capabilities within our ecosystem.
  • Maintain and evolve PSP's partner ecosystem, including relationship reviews and executive briefings, interacting with various teams in a cross-functional manner for proactive planning of activities.
  • Act as an ambassador, helping to develop and grow the PSP brand, promoting and clarifying our strategy and approach to key partner relationships.
  • Support the leadership team in communication and key messaging around strategy and partnerships.
  • Contribute to various initiatives as a representative of strategic partnerships (strategy, governance, communication, process improvement, etc.), articulating the needs and requirements of the partnerships team from a partnerships perspective.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional experience (up to 3 years) or relevant internship experience (e.g., consulting, investment management, business planning).
  • Critical and strategic thinking, with demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship skills - ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • A rigorous approach with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a high-performance culture, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • A basic understanding of financial concepts. Considered an asset: relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP).
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and French (or willingness to learn). *Regular interactions in English with investment partners based outside Quebec, e.g., peers, banks, brokerage firms, etc., and interactions in French with local employees in Montreal and Ottawa offices.
