Ruminant Feed Sales Internship Opportunity

New-Life Mills, a Canadian-owned manufacturer of livestock nutrition, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ruminant Feed Sales Intern.

Internship Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sales and marketing of ruminant feed products. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and contact prospective customers in the dairy and beef cattle sectors, conduct market research and analysis, and support the development and implementation of sales campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales team in identifying and contacting prospective customers in the dairy and beef cattle sectors.
  • Learn to conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and animal nutritionists to prepare presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for clients.
  • Assist in maintaining customer databases, sales records, and CRM systems.

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Interest in ruminant nutrition, agriculture, and sales.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
