Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior QA Specialist to assist in the execution of testing-related activities and data reconciliation for large, complex, business-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in executing testing-related activities and data reconciliation for large, complex, business-critical systems with support from Senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in test planning, test cases, and expected test results for complex business systems under the guidance of QA lead.
- Execute test cases and scenarios for large, complex systems with a focus on understanding and following detailed test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Utilize testing tools and problem tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Microfocus Product Suite) to identify and report defects.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of workflow, portfolio management, and rule-driven business solutions.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in executing testing-related activities and data reconciliation for large, complex, business-critical systems with support from Senior team members.
- Proficiency with testing tools and problem tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Microfocus Product Suite).
- Familiarity with web-based 3-tier software platforms.
- Effective coordination across cross-functional teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
