Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Specialist to join our team at Medicentres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Diseases: Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat diseases and physiological disorders.
- Prescribe Medication and Treatment: Prescribe medication and treatment plans to patients as needed.
- Refer Patients for Surgery: Refer patients for surgery or other medical procedures as required.
- Order Laboratory Tests and Diagnostic Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Education and Experience: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, with experience in occupational medicine an asset.
- Certifications and Licenses: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Specialization in Clinical Medicine: Specialization in clinical medicine, with a focus on occupational medicine.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Spend time sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Bending, Crouching, and Kneeling: Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Recognized Employer: Work for a recognized employer with a permanent work term.
- Work Language: Work in English.
- Hours of Work: Work 3 to 40 hours per week.
