We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Niagara Children's Centre. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assessing, identifying, and treating communication difficulties in children and youth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to enhance quality of life and participation
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address communication difficulties
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Post-secondary degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Strong understanding of speech-language therapy principles and practices
- Ability to establish effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
- CPR and NVCI certifications
- Bilingualism is an asset
