We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist Assistant to join our team at Niagara Children's Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and youth with various developmental and communicative delays.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive communication and hearing screenings to identify areas of need
    • Develop and implement effective communication intervention programs to support children's language and literacy skills
    • Provide therapy materials and plan sessions to meet the unique needs of each child
    • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support
  • Requirements:
    • Completion of a Communicative Disorders Assistant program
    • Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds
    • Current CPR and NVCI certifications
