We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Owls Nest Bakery Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
