Culinary Specialist

As a Culinary Specialist at Owls Nest Bakery Bistro, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise in food preparation and presentation will ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a culinary setting is preferred, with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, including settings such as:
- Restaurants
- Bistros
- Bakery establishments
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
- Accommodate special dietary needs for customers, including those with allergies or intolerances.
- Collaborate with dietitians or chefs to create special meals for patients.
- Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Oversee kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food supplies and equipment.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
- Basic security clearance is required.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for extended periods.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Flexibility and reliability in a team setting.
