Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Thai Pinto Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Order and manage kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to maintain high-quality food service.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, working closely with our culinary team.
  • Collaborate with our management team to achieve kitchen goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
