About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Risk Professional to join our team at TD. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Audit Plans: Design and implement comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of our risk management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead Audit Teams: Supervise and mentor a team of audit professionals to ensure the successful execution of audit engagements and the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Provide Risk Management Guidance: Offer expert advice and guidance to business leaders and stakeholders on risk management best practices and strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Stay Current with Regulatory Requirements: Maintain a deep understanding of evolving regulatory requirements and industry practices, and ensure that our audit plans and approaches are aligned with these expectations.
  • Communicate Results and Recommendations: Clearly and effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, and ensure that actions are taken to address identified risks and control gaps.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or a related field.
