Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Assurance Senior to join our team. As a key member of our assurance team, you will be responsible for leading and completing audit and review engagements, identifying and resolving assurance issues, and training and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete audit and review engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Identify and resolve assurance issues, including technical and business risks.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on assurance engagements, including audit and review procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Assist in the training and development of our team.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in English and French.
  • Previous experience in a public accounting firm working on audits and review engagements.
  • Professional designation.
  • Good technical knowledge of GAAP, audit and review procedures, and tax compliance.
  • Computer skills, including Caseware and Taxprep.
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment, including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
