Your Role: In this position, you will collaborate closely with partners, managers, and team members, contributing to an organization that prioritizes work/life balance and invests in the development of its people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and executing audit and review engagements, along with associated tax filings, in a paperless environment.
  • Identifying and addressing issues related to assurance engagements.
  • Mentoring and training junior staff involved in assurance projects.
  • Fostering positive and productive relationships with clients, colleagues, and all levels of management.
  • Supporting the training and development initiatives within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in both English and French.
  • Prior experience in a public accounting environment, specifically in audits and review engagements.
  • Possession of a relevant professional designation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, audit and review methodologies, and tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Caseware and Taxprep.
  • Comprehensive understanding of a client-focused approach, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A strong work ethic, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
