Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cutting-edge rendering techniques and technologies to enhance the visual fidelity of our games.
  • Collaborate with game teams and central technology groups to understand their requirements and bring expertise in overlapping areas.
  • Research and develop new rendering technologies and applications for use cases in games and game development pipelines.
  • Build demos that showcase novel applications of rendering techniques and contribute to the end-to-end delivery of novel rendering technology.
  • Share your work through publications, open-sourcing, and speaking at conferences.
Requirements
  • A degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Advanced level of real-time rendering (lighting, shading, geometry) and game development knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and console hardware, with experience researching and optimizing for a variety of platforms.
  • Familiarity with game engines and ability to work well within a team.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and visit teams across EA studios.
  • Care about video games and have a passion for innovation.
