Job Title: CNC Woodworking Machine Operator

Walton's Woodworking Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team. As a CNC Woodworking Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines to produce high-quality wood products
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for CNC machine tools
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements
  • Program CNC machine tools to optimize production efficiency
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment
