Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Walton's Woodworking Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized and manual woodworking machines to fabricate high-quality wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate computerized and manual woodworking machines to produce wood products
  • Program and operate CNC machine tools to fabricate wood products
  • Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for CNC machine tools
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment
Work Environment

Our woodworking facility is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our production team to meet production deadlines. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a noisy environment.
