The Municipal Group of Companies is a prominent and diversified entity involved in all significant facets of the heavy civil construction sector. We are currently in search of skilled Dozer Operators.

Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Foreman, the Dozer Operator is tasked with the excavation, transportation, loading, and grading of materials such as soil, rock, and gravel at construction sites. The operator is also responsible for the inspection, cleaning, and upkeep of the machinery, as well as performing necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate machinery to transport, load, and grade materials on-site.
  • Accurately grade various sections of the site to the specified elevation within designated timeframes.
  • Ensure smooth and safe operation of equipment.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Maintain the vehicle in optimal working condition.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Foreman.
  • Remain vigilant of surroundings at all times.
  • Uphold a safe working environment in accordance with all safety regulations, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Safeguard and promote the interests of the company in all aspects and take necessary actions to fulfill these responsibilities.
  • Ensure the safety of fellow workers.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction setting.
  • Thorough understanding of construction site protocols, regulations, and conduct standards.
  • Proficient in operating equipment with advanced grading techniques (e.g., GPS).
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Ability to operate required machinery safely and responsibly.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues and supervisors to ensure proper project completion.
  • Commitment to safety as a condition of employment.
