We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst - Systems Testing at S M Software Solutions Inc. Below are the details of the position:

Position Overview:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems. This position involves leading testing initiatives and executing comprehensive testing strategies for complex business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on testing methodologies, including the formulation of test plans and the selection of appropriate testing tools.
  • Organize and oversee testing activities for large-scale systems, encompassing both Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-GUI environments.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to analyze, design, and implement effective testing solutions.
Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading manual testing efforts and data reconciliation for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and expected outcomes for complex applications.
  • Experience in establishing testing strategies for systems that undergo frequent changes.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing standards and practices.
  • Strong understanding of workflow management and rule-based business solutions.
  • Familiarity with web-based software architectures.
  • Experience with manual testing tools and issue tracking software.
Technical Skills:

Candidates should have:

  • Solid knowledge of workflow and portfolio management systems.
  • Experience with web-based 3-tier application platforms.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools and software for tracking issues.
  • Good understanding of database management tools.
  • Familiarity with desktop applications such as Visio and MS Office.
  • Experience in testing both custom and commercial off-the-shelf software solutions.
General Skills:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Public Sector Experience:
