Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at NuAge Foam Inc. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wood structures and furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
  • Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces.
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Commercial work setting.
  • Ability to work with hand tools.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Reliability, team player, and punctuality.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Work Environment

30 to 40 hours per week. Permanent work term. English language required.
