Role Details
Brand Momentum is in search of a Floral Merchandising Specialist to operate independently at a designated retail location for approximately 4-6 hours each week.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at building solid business relationships. Experience in merchandising within a supermarket setting is advantageous. A smartphone and internet access are essential. If you have a passion for gardening and possess a green thumb, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising duties at a designated retail store.
- Oversee sections by restocking and managing plant health.
- Resolve any stock shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness of display areas, including dusting fixtures.
- Water plants and flowers as needed.
- Complete daily visit and call reports.
- Conduct store visits twice weekly, at the start and end of the week.
- Establish and nurture a positive relationship with the store manager.
- Remove any dead foliage or blooms.
- Dispose of any unsellable products.
- Document displays with photographs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Preferred home location within 10 KM of the retail store (car access is ideal).
Ability to lift up to 25lbs. Previous experience in merchandising is beneficial but not mandatory.
Must possess a smartphone and have internet access.
