Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Repair Specialist to join our team at Ansatel Communications. As a key member of our installation and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure optimal network performance
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble to provide effective solutions
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to access and repair equipment
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults and ensure proper functioning
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to maintain network integrity
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment to support network growth and expansion
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require climbing, bending, and lifting
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
  • Strong judgment and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, on-the-road position with a 40-hour workweek. You will be required to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and at heights. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are essential for this role.
