We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at 5868441 Manitoba Ltd. as a key member of our culinary staff.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient ordering and minimize waste.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to strict cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless service and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn from experienced colleagues.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform tasks that require attention to detail.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assistance with immediate settlement needs, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities.
