Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Operations Manager to join our team at BOSH CONSUMER DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS LIMITED. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our freight forwarding operations, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Organize and coordinate the work of our logistics team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing technical advice and guidance.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of our organization, including planning, organizing, and maintaining inventory, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, including requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff, including arranging training for staff and conducting performance reviews.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed, and ensure that all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role, with a focus on operational management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
