Job Summary:

The Freight Forwarding Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics or supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
