Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry. We are seeking a skilled Battery Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our lithium ion battery manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of electrode materials and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrode designs into the manufacturing process and ensure seamless production.
- Scale up laboratory-scale processes to pilot and full-scale production, ensuring efficient and reliable manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to battery manufacturing, applying problem-solving skills and expertise.
- Document and report findings, maintaining comprehensive records of experiments and results.
- Support cell design activities and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a relevant field such as Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Technical background in EV battery cell development and hands-on experience in lithium ion battery cell manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of electrochemical principles and materials science, with a focus on battery cell design and process development.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Able to work independently, with a strong desire to learn and improve processes and products.
