Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Banking team. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions and advice to help them achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing them with tailored financial solutions and advice.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building on existing relationships and expanding our client base.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including credit, risk, and operations teams, to ensure seamless delivery of financial solutions to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible advice and guidance.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending, preferably in a relationship management role.
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in commerce or business administration, or related experience.
- Demonstrated success in a business development role, particularly with respect to the acquisition of new clients, prospecting, and cold calling.
- Financial statement review and computer modeling and analysis experience.
- Experience with emerging communications and technology, including web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
