Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Kidd Ventures Ltd. as a Cashier.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- Process Payments: Tabulate total payment for goods or services required, receive payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Stock and Maintain Store: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a well-organized store environment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Monitor Store Operations: Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling restricted products.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of customers and transactions.
- Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, move around the store, and lift light to moderate weights.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
