About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Kidd Ventures Ltd. as a Cashier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Payments: Tabulate total payment for goods or services required, receive payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock and Maintain Store: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor Store: Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling restricted products.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate at Kidd Ventures Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
