Join Our Team as a Managing Consultant

People Corporation is a leading provider of benefits, retirement, wealth, wellness, and human resource solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Consultant to join our Group Retirement Solutions team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to support business growth and client retention through their knowledge of group retirement solutions and ability to build strong client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships and delivering pro-active consulting services to assigned clients, including responding to general and technical questions regarding plan design, legislative requirements, and investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high client retention rates through the development of strong relationships and providing excellent client service and solutions.
  • Participate in finalist meetings to support the new business acquisition process.
  • Implement and provide ongoing servicing of GRS clients.
  • Expand and maintain existing block of business and present solutions to clients.
  • Take part in transitioning new business acquisitions to the ongoing management service model.
  • Develop and maintain a strong governance model for retirement clients.
  • Work closely and in coordination with other team members to provide exceptional service and solutions for clients.
  • Research, write, deliver, and support the Financial Wellness solution for plan sponsors and plan members.
  • Lead & contribute to ad hoc projects to enhance client experience.
  • Provide expertise and support within the team and with partner firms to meet overall objectives.
  • Assist in educating and training team members towards building an overall stronger team.
  • Develop and maintain professional and technical knowledge and industry trends by attending education workshops and keeping up to date with publications and the competitive landscape.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years' relevant experience in the retirement or pension industry with proven ability to build strong business relationships ideally in client-facing and advisory positions.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in business or a related field.
  • RPA, CEBS designation considered an asset.
  • Life licensed, or willingness to complete.
  • Access to a car and a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
