Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Martinrea International Inc. is a leading global automotive supplier, and we're seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including circuitry, wiring, and control panels.
  • Repair and replace electrical components, such as motors, contactors, and relays.
  • Run new power supply lines and install electrical control panels according to Hydro codes and other applicable standards.
  • Diagnose faults on electrical equipment and systems, and inform supervisors of any changes or updates.
  • Maintain and adjust electrical supply and production equipment to maximize operating performance.
Requirements:
  • Valid Electrician's license and knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
  • Minimum Grade 12 mathematics and 5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a production-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of electric circuitry, including relays, PC, and PLC logic.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical theory.
  • Basic machine shop skills, including lathes, grinders, welding, and milling machines.
  • Ability to use programming devices for troubleshooting and modification of programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organization skills, be a self-starter, and a team player.
