About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 1159385 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily restaurant operations, monitor revenues, and determine labor costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations, and provide coaching and feedback to improve their skills.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and work to increase sales through effective promotions and pricing strategies.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and ensure that all products are stocked and rotated properly.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and prepare cash reports and related forms.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure is essential. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
