Position Overview

The Assistant Manager for Restaurant Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily activities within the establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, operational oversight, and customer service excellence.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Work Environment
  • Willingness to relocate is essential.
  • Relocation expenses are not covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and enhance daily operational procedures.
  • Adjust food preparation techniques and pricing in line with the restaurant's financial plan.
  • Oversee revenue streams to manage labor costs effectively.
  • Evaluate and guide staff performance.
  • Organize and manage daily operational tasks.
  • Create and implement staff work schedules.
  • Supervise and mentor team members.
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees.
  • Handle cash balancing and prepare financial reports.
  • Perform staff performance evaluations.
  • Calculate costs for products and services.
  • Maintain and organize inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Negotiate with clients regarding catering services or facility usage.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for overseeing a team of more than 20 individuals.

Transportation and Travel
