Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee our warehouse activities at Tedcons Ontario Inc. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high standards of productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP is required.
  • Work Environment: The position is based in a warehouse setting, with a willingness to relocate as necessary.
  • Core Duties:
    • Coordinate activities across various departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Prepare and submit detailed reports on warehouse performance.
    • Organize maintenance and repair tasks for equipment.
    • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and suggesting improvements for productivity and quality.
    • Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
    • Assign, review, and manage work tasks effectively.
    • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
    • Establish work schedules and operational procedures.
    • Plan and oversee logistics operations within the organization.
  • Supervision: Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals, including purchasing and inventory clerks, shippers and receivers, storekeepers, and parts clerks.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel, including overnight trips.
  • Work Conditions:
    • Fast-paced work environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Physical capability to handle heavy loads.
    • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Weight Handling: Capable of lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Tools Required: Must have a cellular phone for communication.
  • Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate will be accurate, flexible, proactive, organized, reliable, and a team player with good judgment.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
