As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our dispatch team, ensuring efficient and timely coordination of our engineers and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise the dispatch team, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
- Dispatch Operations: Oversee the dispatching of engineers and partners, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between dispatchers, engineers, clients, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and address any issues promptly.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve operational challenges, including emergencies and delays, by coordinating with relevant personnel and deploying appropriate resources.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of dispatch activities, quality assurance, and other relevant information for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for dispatch employees to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant technology.
- Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Competitive salary of £27,040 per annum.
- A discretionary bonus of up to £1,440.00 per annum on successful achievement of monthly KPIs.
