Job Title: System Administrator

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team in Windsor. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT and Cyber Security support and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer various IT and Cyber Security systems, including Windows Desktop, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, MAC OS, iOS, Mimecast, Arctic Wolf, Sentinel One, Forescout, Forcepoint, Duo, and Okta.
  • Complete tickets and support users directly, both remotely and on-site, as assigned through our outsourced Help Desk.
  • Provide exceptional onboarding experience to new employees, including central services and contact centre management staff, as well as store management employees in our various locations.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for our outsourced Help Desk and provide expert technical guidance on projects.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assume backup responsibilities for the Desktop Support Technician role and participate in emergency troubleshooting and project launches, which may require evening and weekend work.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a College or University program in Information Technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, CISSP) being an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, VMware, SANs, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, networking (switches, wireless access points, firewalls), MAC OS, and iOS.
  • Hands-on experience with Cyber Security tools, such as Mimecast, Arctic Wolf, Sentinel One, Forescout, Forcepoint, Duo, and Okta.
  • Excellent customer service skills, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, as well as great organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with a valid driver's license.
