Job Title: Interior Finishing Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Interior Finishing Assistant to join our team at EMT Contractor Division Inc.

Job Summary:

The Interior Finishing Assistant will assist in the preparation and finishing of interior construction sites. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as performing routine maintenance work and cleaning up chemical spills.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster
  • Taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound
  • Applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
