Job Title: Interior Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Interior Decorator to join our team at K-W DRYWALL SERVICES LTD.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes. This includes advising on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space
  • Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings
  • Collaborate with clients to select colours, finishes and materials that meet their needs and preferences
  • Ensure that all designs meet ergonomic and occupational health standards
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in interior design or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with various locations. They will be required to travel and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
