Job Title: Interior Finishing Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Interior Finishing Assistant to join our team at EMT Contractor Division Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and finishing of interior construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants promptly.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster as needed.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves provided.
  • Reliable and accurate with a strong work ethic.
