Job Title: Legal Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Researcher to join our team at Davies Bagambiire Professional Corporation. As a Legal Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on various legal matters, preparing documents, and providing support to our lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on legal matters, including reviewing court files, legal documents, and other relevant materials.
  • Prepare documents, such as trial briefs, legal correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Provide support to our lawyers, including scheduling court trials, arranging pre-trial conferences, and assisting with mediation and judicial dispute resolutions.
  • Represent clients internationally in consultation with foreign associates and attorneys.
  • Analyze and interpret data, and research and retrieve archival materials.
  • Research legal precedents and gather evidence.
  • Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in law or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
