Job Title: Legal Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Researcher to join our team at Davies Bagambiire Professional Corporation. As a Legal Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on various legal matters, preparing documents, and providing support to our lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on legal matters, including reviewing case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Prepare documents, such as trial briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Provide support to our lawyers, including assisting with court proceedings, drafting legal correspondence, and researching legal precedents.
  • Assist with the coordination of administrative services, including scheduling court trials and arranging pre-trial conferences.
  • Represent clients internationally in consultation with foreign associates and attorneys.
  • Analyze and interpret data, including researching and retrieving archival materials.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in law or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a legal research role.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload and workload. They will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
