Whistler Personnel Solutions is in search of a motivated Communications, Engagement, and Information Management Specialist to spearhead our strategic communication initiatives and oversee IT projects. The successful candidate will be a creative and strategic communicator, dedicated to engaging a variety of audiences while effectively conveying our organization's mission and impact concerning Employee Housing.



SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • Starting at $40 - $46 per hour.

SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Full-time position.
  • This role entails full-time work, providing 72 hours of employment bi-weekly throughout the year, with a flexible workday every second week.
  • Flexibility between office and remote work is available, with the expectation of at least three full days of in-office collaboration.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Recognized as an exceptional communicator, capable of simplifying complex concepts and processes through strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing a variety of software tools and systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experienced with platforms such as Mailchimp, Formstack, WordPress, and Shopify, as well as managing business social media accounts.
  • Exhibits excellent time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experienced in scoping and mapping workflows for digital innovation and change management.
  • Skilled in graphic design software and programs.
  • Proficient in proofreading and editing content.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and adept at delivering information effectively.
  • Possesses post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Information Technology, or Business Administration.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and execute communication and engagement strategies to connect with target audiences.
  • Produce engaging content for various platforms, including social media, press releases, surveys, e-newsletters, and the company website.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and engage in public speaking opportunities.
  • Create innovative materials, graphics, and content to clarify complex ideas.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure consistency in messaging and objectives.
  • Oversee policies and procedures for secure information management.
  • Act as the lead coordinator for the organization's IT projects, focusing on cybersecurity and privacy needs.
