Under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Consultant offers comprehensive support across various facets of Human Resources and Organizational Development, enhancing the overall employee experience. This role demands a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, people-centric environment.

The HR Consultant will be pivotal in fostering collaborative and productive relationships with managers, colleagues, and staff. As one of the initial contacts for new hires, the Consultant's enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment during orientation will significantly influence the employee experience and, by extension, the patient experience.

This role is ideal for someone who challenges the status quo and possesses the vision to improve existing processes. The HR Consultant is expected to contribute innovative ideas that cultivate a thriving workplace for employees and teams.

Employment Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in a Human Resources-related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within a Human Resources team.
  • Experience with computerized human resources/payroll systems and reporting software is preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and calendar management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently in a confidential environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Competent in presenting information and addressing inquiries from leadership and staff.

Assets:

  • Bilingual communication skills (French/English) are advantageous.
  • Experience with HRIS and data analytics.

Salary Range: $38.815 to $45.664
