About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at DALJIT DHALIWAL. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Personal Hygiene: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Feed or Assist with Feeding: Prepare and serve meals, and assist clients with eating and drinking.
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as toileting, grooming, and mobility.
Work Setting

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make decisions in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Financial Benefits: Piece work, permanent work term, and 40 hours per week.
