About Us
Miller Paving South Western Ontario is a leading provider of asphalt paving services, committed to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Assistant to join our team, responsible for maintaining the plant's daily operations, performing routine maintenance, and conducting major and minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of the asphalt plant, ensuring efficient production and quality control
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication and equipment inspections
- Conduct major and minor repairs, as required
- Operate a loader to feed the plant, when necessary
- Collaborate with the Asphalt Plant Operator to ensure seamless plant operations
Requirements:
- Welding and mechanical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Front End Loader experience (Cat 980 or equivalent)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work at heights, when required
