About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Assistant to join our team at Miller Paving Limited.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the plant on a daily basis, performing routine maintenance, and operating a loader when required.

You will also be trained to back up the Asphalt Plant Operator and will have a full understanding of the operation.

Effective communication with team members and a safety-focused mindset are essential to ensure the highest quality of asphalt products.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Operate a loader to feed the plant, when required
  • Assist in the creation of every load and contribute to building the roads of tomorrow
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections and maintenance logs
  • Train to back up the Asphalt Plant Operator and understand the operation
