Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Unit Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient records and data
- Coordinate and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling and data entry
- Collaborate with our team to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
Requirements
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Unit Clerk course or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
