About the Role

Limen Masonry 2013 Ltd. is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay masonry units: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Construct and install masonry units: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing, construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Work at heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete masonry tasks.
  • Instruct and train: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on masonry techniques and best practices.
  • Build chimneys and fireplaces: Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Line industrial installations: Line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers, and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks and materials.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physically demanding: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work setting: The work setting is primarily outdoors, with occasional work in a warehouse or office environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in masonry or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
