About the Role

Limen Masonry 2013 Ltd. is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to construct walls, chimneys, and fireplaces.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, including chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on masonry techniques and best practices.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys and line industrial chimneys and smokestacks with firebricks.
  • Line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers, and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks and materials.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with frequent exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands.
  • Stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in masonry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
